“Origin Energy is an integrated energy company that supplies customers with electricity, natural gas, LPG and solar. Across the Power Generation fleet a number of energy sources are used to produce electricity.
Within our Power Generation business, we have 9 power stations that needed to manage inductions. The challenge being faced was the amount of time taken to induct contractors when they came to site to perform work.
We were looking for a simple cost effective solution that would enable contractors to complete Inductions prior to arriving at Site. The solution had to accommodate large numbers of contractors and also be able to have multiple administrators.

Flat cost, not based on number of users. Ease of building courses and opportunity to have multiple administrators.

The process has saved a lot of time when inducting contractors to site. This has been particular evident during outages when we may induct up to 500 personnel.
Question: How much did it reduce the cost to complete those processes?
Unable to give cost in dollars but has reduced time at site for conducting Induction to around 30 minutes as opposed to 90 mins.
