Who can attend? (Conditions of Entry)

Safety in Action is a Free Trade Only Event. Entry is restricted to bona fide members of the health and safety industries and over the age of 16.

Some examples of who should attend are:

Health & Safety Managers, CEO’s, Directors, Owners, Purchasing Officers, Project Managers, Production Managers, Site Managers, Risk Managers, Maintenance/Operations Managers, Training Mangers, Warehouse Managers, Logistic and Transport Specialists, Construction and Manufacturing Workers, Foremen, Site Inspectors, Building Managers and Government Agencies.

Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead, payslip or company documentation containing your company ABN (this could be a company bill, company order, company registration certificate). You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification. All visitors must be able to provide proof they either work or operate the company used in registration.

Those not involved in the health & safety industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered. Visitors failing to abide may be asked to leave the venue.

The Organiser reserves the right at their discretion to deny or withdraw access to non-approved persons.

How much does it cost to attend?

Once registered as a bona fide trade visitor, attendance is free.

Do I need to register for the event?

Yes all trade visitors must register.

Alternatively you can register onsite when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register. This will also ensure you receive approval prior to attending & receive registration confirmation for easy entry.

NOTE: When registering, full company details must be entered ie: company address, not personal address. All required fields must be completed in full, failing to provide full details may determine registration approval.

What happens when I register? (E-ticket)


  • – Subject to approval email is sent to you so you know your registration has been processed
  • – We the organiser will then confirm or decline your booking with an approved or declined email confirmation, attached will be your E-ticket

Please note your registration must be approved by the organiser before your booking is confirmed.

All emails will be sent to you from Infosalons

Your E-ticket is required to take advantage of the self-registration terminals located at the entrance for quick entry. Your E-ticket is to be printed and taken with you. If you do not have an email address you will need to collect your Visitor Access Card from the registration counter onsite. Business identification will be required. You will not need to complete another registration form.

Note that the Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bona fide trade visitors.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION Visitor Access Cards from previous years are not valid.

What happens if I have deleted or forgotten my E-ticket?

Your E-ticket can be re-sent. Please phone our visitor hotline on 02 9211 2460 (within Australia) or +612 9211 2460 (outside Australia).

Alternatively our onsite registration staff will be able to assist you upon arrival with printing your visitor access card.

Arriving onsite without having access to your E-ticket or you’ve forgotten it, please advise our onsite registration staff as they will be able to assist you. You will not have to complete another registration form; your record will be on the database.

Can I check or update my registration details?

Yes. If you want to check what details have been registered or update any details please email Alternatively your registration details can be changed at the event at the onsite registration desk located near the entrance. You won’t need to complete another registration form, simply present your business identification.

How do I book in for seminars if I've already registered?

If you would like to attend a Safety Seminar and you have already registered, you can update your registration by going back to the registration button. If you have any further problems, please email

How do I register a colleague?

On the registration page (when live) there will be a purple button indicating whether or not you want to register a colleague, click this if you would like to register another person. Alternatively forward them the link to the registration page and they can register themselves.

Can I still attend if I have not registered before arriving?

Yes, you are welcome to register at the onsite registration counter at the entrance to Safety in Action. However we recommend pre-registering to save you time. All registrations will require business identification.

Can students attend?

Final year Tertiary or TAFE students currently enrolled in a relevant course may attend on the final day ONLY provided they have an appropriate student identification card.

Any groups larger than 6 students must apply in writing to the Organiser for approval. Details must include institution, course, number of students and preferred attendance time. Email:

STUDENTS MUST NOT REGISTER TO ATTEND, but simply present their student identification at the registration desk located at the entrance. Student badges are issued onsite from the Registration Desk. No Student badges are available prior to the event. Any students who register to attend will have their registration declined.

Can I bring my family or guests to have a look?

Trade Expo entry is restricted to Trade Only.

Trade registered attendees are entitled to bring along ONE accompanying guest. Guests are NOT to be registered in any circumstance. An accompanying guest pass must be collected from the registration counter onsite only. Guest passes are not available prior to attendance. Guests must be accompanied by their trade visitor at all times.

Children under 16 may attend if accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no child minding facilities available at the venue. Children must not be registered; children do not need to obtain a guest pass.

If your guest qualifies as a trade visitor, registration is recommended.

Are there child minding facilities available?

No, unfortunately there are not child minding facilities available onsite.

Will there be any special events/features?

Yes there will be a range of events/ features designed to inform and entertain you whilst vising the event. Click here for further details.

Who is exhibiting?

At each event expect to see hundreds of manufacturers and suppliers with workplace health and safety products, services and solutions, including new and innovative ways to improve workplace performance.

Is there free parking?

Do I need a Visa to visit Australia?

Most international visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at Remember to allow enough time for your Visa Application because there is usually a processing period involved.
